In this one I take a step back to change the lift from the inclined planes to a motorized solution. I used a small and inexpensive (less than $20) gear motor to power the lift. It turns at 100 rpm and drives a 1/2" (13 tpi) threaded rod for the lead screw.
Because of these changes, I had to revise one part of the saw and get that installed now, and it's function is to lock the tilt at the correct angle.
I also made the motor mount and got that installed, and tested the lift again with the added weight.
